Cat lovers, here’s your calling! Travel to South Africa and participate in a wild cats volunteer program. You’ll have the opportunity to care for and learn about Africa’s cats and other animals such as lions, meerkats, black back jackals, bat-eared foxes and more!
After two days of orientation in Johannesburg, you’ll head to the farm, located on the border of the Northern Cape and Free State. The farm is also a sanctuary that cares for injured, abused or displaced animals. If they are unable to be rehabilitated to the point of release, they will spend their lives on the farm in good care.
You’ll spend your days working towards the goal of rehabilitation and release of animals to the wild. The animals will contribute to the repopulation of their species. This program does not support canned hunting, so you can rest assured the rehabilitated animals are not being released into these conditions.
