Travel and earn your TEFL certificate in Fiji, while teaching kids in a local school. Over the course of 4 weeks, you’ll gain experience in teaching children of varying ages, while improving your skills in education.
Fiji is magical! Its picturesque blue waters, colorful towns and villages, rich and vibrant culture, draw you in and captivate you. Add to that a fulfilling experience and skills development, you’ll have the trip of a lifetime.
In your free time, you’ll have plenty of time to explore the local towns, visit the beaches, explore Hindu temples and Indigenous Spirit Houses, and taste delicious cuisine.
This program is more than simply teaching English. As a volunteer, you’ll need to engage with the students and take an initiative to deliver the curriculum in a creative way. You’ll also have the chance to bring in exciting activities to the classroom to make the environment more fun!
In addition to teaching, you can also expect to be involved in the following activities:
Here’s your chance to make a difference while living in paradise!
For the duration of your program, you'll stay in a comfortable, friendly Fijian family where you'll gain an understanding of local living.
If a homestay does not appeal to you, you may opt for a lodge stay for an additional cost per week.
In Fiji, you'll be surrounded by incredible scenery, wonderful views of the Pacific, and a vibrant culture.
After your arrival, if you are arriving the first Monday of the month, you'll receive a transfer. Arrivals on other days of the month will need to make their way to the project but will be provided with travel information.
Your work on the project will be to teach children of all ages, working a full school day, 5 days each week. You will help with marking work, writing reports, data entry, and other paperwork. You'll be encouraged to take initiative and create engaging, effective lesson plans.
