About this program

If you have a skill that you can share, this program is perfect for you. This skills development program enables volunteers to take their existing skills and share them with a local community in South Africa. You’ll work with a community that has a very low education rate and where many of the adults are unemployed.

Some of the volunteer work you can look forward to over the course of your volunteer program are:

  • Helping to create and implement a skills program for kids and adults
  • Helping to run workshops with groups and individuals
  • Helping to create and provide course material for workshops
  • Developing your own workshop based on your own unique skills
  • Providing mentorship in developing a Business Plan
  • Assisting with financial management

In the past, volunteers have brought incredible skills to the communities, including basic life skills, HIV Awareness, Childcare, Health, Nutrition, Soccer Clinics, Drama Workshops, Computer Training, Wood Working, Entrepreneurship, Marketing and so much more!

If you’ve got something that you know a lot about, you can share it with the community. This helps build confidence and gives invaluable information to a community in need!
