Before you say goodbye, we’d love you to join our movement for applied wildlife conservation.
We won’t share your information, and we pay close attention to what we send out.
And if you’d rather not, that’s cool too. You can still follow our efforts on social media.
We’re glad you signed up.
If for whatever reason you’re unhappy with our messages you can unsubscribe at any time. Just click ‘Unsubscribe’ at the bottom of every email we send.
But we hope you stick around. We’re just getting started at something pretty good.
There are few things that bring people together the way that music does. Here is your opportunity to work with kids and help them gain self-confidence and expression through music.
As a volunteer on this program, you should have a passion for music and have the ability to create your own music lesson plans and work independently.
In the past, volunteers have focused on teaching the following:
Musical Instrument lessons: guitar, flute, maraca, etc.
Singing (experience in singing or directing choirs is a huge benefit!)
Traditional Music Lessons (cultural sharing among the children)
Volunteers with experience in music, knowledge of music theory, and practical experience will be especially successful in this volunteer role.
Your first day of the program you will undertake an orientation where you will learn about the local customs, expectations, what to expect over your volunteer time, and more. After the first day, your schedule will look something like this:
7:30 am - Breakfast
8:30 am - 2:00 pm - Volunteer work commences with a tea and lunch break.
2:00 - 5:00 pm - Work placement ends and you’re free to enjoy the local area, go shopping or sightseeing.
7:00 - 8:00 pm - Dinner
