About this program

Travel to the Amazon Jungle and participate in a unique opportunity to assist in jungle conservation. As a volunteer, you will work on one of three different placements, between 6 and 10 hours from Cusco.

Your accommodation for the duration of your placement will be a jungle conservation reserve. The accommodations are rustic and communal, however, they are comfortable. You may stay in either a dormitory-style room or bungalow depending on space.

Some of your main tasks will be:

  • Reforestation
  • Trail & Home-base maintenance
  • Animal Inventories
  • Basic research

You will be placed by the local staff where the need is greatest for your help, and there is much work throughout the year to give back and preserve the Amazon’s unique eco-system.
