About this program

Travel and make a difference through a food outreach program in Greece. As part of this exciting opportunity, you’ll play a crucial role in providing meals each day to residents of nursing homes, public schools and special needs care centers. Each center prepares and distributes the meals to individuals of varying backgrounds.

You are best suited to this program if you have some experience in food preparation, have the ability to work hard and are looking to make a difference in the lives of those in need. Some of your tasks will include:

  • Food preparation

  • Food distribution

  • Clean-up

This program is extremely important to the local community and supports the local public school kitchens as well as elderly nursing homes. By volunteering on this program, you are helping to lighten the load on each of the teachers and encouraging this program to grow.
