About this program

Italy is filled with incredible culture, history, food, and art. Here’s your chance to be a part of an environmental program that works to preserve the historical and UNESCO World Heritage sites in Naples. You may be part of several important projects, including environmental preservation, awareness, preservation of archaeological ruins or protected marine life, farming, administrative support, running workshops, and so much more. 

As a volunteer, your tasks will vary, but is best suited if you have a good level of energy, ability to take initiative, and most importantly an interest in environmental preservation and hard work. 

**This program is not available from November to March and operates from Wednesday to Sunday. Please budget $5 per day for public transport**



Volunteer Schedule

The volunteer schedule may depend on the needs of the project, however, a typical schedule appears as follows:

After your orientation, you may have a morning, afternoon, or evening shift which lasts the duration of 3-5 hours. A morning shift is generally:

7:30 am - Breakfast

8:30 am - Travel to the placement and begin project work. 

1:30 pm - Placement work ends. Travel back to volunteer apartment for lunch. Your afternoon is free to enjoy sightseeing, shopping, or possible Italian language classes. 

7:00 pm - Dinner & evening free
