About this program

Travel to the highlands of Costa Rica and join a volunteer Eco-Agriculture Conservation program. Based 4 hours from San Jose, you’ll spend your volunteer time working with a local family to support their coffee production.

As a volunteer with a passion for conservation, you will take on hands-on tasks and enjoy the benefit of seeing the fruits of your labour. This is an exceptional opportunity to dedicate your time to both agriculture and supporting the local community. If you love coffee, you’ll find this program especially rewarding, as you learn about and appreciate the hard work of coffee production.

Some of the tasks you may participate in include: harvesting, roasting, packaging, composting, replanting, and clearing the grounds to plant the next harvest.
