Take part in a hands-on volunteer program in the African bush at this Monkey & Baboon Rehabilitation Centre. Learn about the care and conservation efforts made at the centre, as well as rehabilitation techniques used to release them into the wild!
Take part in numerous duties on site, whilst making friends with like-minded volunteers. Head home with amazing memories and new friends all over the globe!
**Please note – the minimum age for this program is 17**
No day is exactly the same, and all activities are demand-driven. Tasks volunteers can expect to take part in include: * Feeding baby monkeys and baboons * Cleaning enclosures * Food preparation for adult monkeys and baboons * Taking the young monkeys and baboons to swimming pool to bathe * Help prepare for releases * Planting and picking fruits and vegetables * Chopping down grasses for monkeys * Assisting with food collection * Caring for quarantined adult monkeys * Assisting with various veterinary procedures * Monitoring progress of monkeys and baboons ***Please note - the minimum age for this program is 17***
