What to Expect?

Participate in all stages of construction together with the beneficiaries and following the supervisor's instructions. The stages of construction in which the volunteer will participate are the following:

• Put together and assemble the prefabricated walls and roof

• Plaster the walls and ceiling with concrete

• Making of the concrete roof

• Doors and windows installation

• Waterproof the roof

• Priming walls

• Paint interior and exterior walls

• Finishing details

• Electrical wiring

Valle de Bravo is one of Mexico´s Magic Towns, located only 3 hours away from Mexico City. It is famous for its artificial lake -where you can practice aquatic skiing, sailing, boating and fishing- and its mountain formations, where you can practice mountaineering and paragliding. Querétaro is a state with great cultural and natural variety located in the central part of México. You can find the Sierra Gorda Biosphere Reserve, two UNESCO World Heritage Sites (downtown Santiago de Querétaro and the five Franciscan missions of Sierra Gorda), one of Mexico´s Magic Towns, vineyards, ecotourism and the opportunity to camp, fish, horse ride and practice extreme sports (mountain bike, motorbikes, rock climbing, rappelling, among others).
