VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, January 31, 2013 – GoVoluntouring is pleased to announce that El Camino VolunTours has won the company’s inaugural Vision Award established to recognize the partnership organization that best exemplifies GoVoluntouring’s core philosophies namely cooperation, leadership and sustainability.

The Vision Award acknowledges organizational commitment toward enacting change through positive contributions with in-destination economies, distinct cultures, and a respect for their environment footprint, while at the same time offering the traveler an inspiring and rewarding travel experience.

“I am thrilled to announce El Camino VolunTours as the recipient of GoVoluntouring's first ever Vision Award. Irrespective of scale and scope, their efforts in Latin America exemplify responsible voluntourism, and for that, we celebrate their accomplishments.” said GoVoluntouring Founder & President, Aaron Smith.

"We at El Camino VolunTours are honoured and delighted to receive the first ever GoVoluntouring Vision Award. Our goal has always been to change the way people travel. We strive to make a real difference in the lives of, not only the people in Latin America connected to our projects, but also our VolunTourists. It has been a brilliant journey so far, and this award confirms that we are on the right path. Thank you so much GoVoluntouring!" said El Camino VolunTours Founder Chris Buckshaw.
